Associated is the publisher of many well-known newspapers including the bestselling Daily Mail and its sister title The Mail on Sunday, London’s Evening Standard, the highly successful morning freesheet Metro, Ireland on Sunday, and classified ads title Loot.

In September 2006, Associated launched London Lite, the capital’s first afternoon free paper, which proved to be an immediate success.

The division is also responsible for overseeing and developing consumer businesses within Associated Northcliffe Digital (AND) and Teletext, as well as running newspaper-printing operations for DMGT in the UK.

AND’s network reaches an estimated 25% of all UK internet users, having expanded into the key areas of the online advertising market of automotive, jobs, property, dating, consumer price comparison services, and personal finance. It is also responsible for developing digital newspaper companion websites, including DailyMail.co.uk and the regional thisis sites.

Teletext provides commercial teletext services on all ITV channels, Channel 4 and analogue Five. Its digital businesses are Teletext Holidays (from which 2m holidays are sourced every year), This is Travel, Teletext Cars, and Teletext Mobile.
